How to Create and Save HTML Document

This article is going on the how to create and save html document. An html is simply a text file you can save the file with .html or .htm extension. HTML document can be created using the html editors like notepad, notepad++, sublime text, vim, vs code, etc. The another way to create a html document is to use a text processor like notepad and a web browser like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, etc. 

The steps how create and save HTML document are as follows :- 

There are two ways to create the html document. Which will be explained step by step below.

First way to create and save html document :-

1. Click on the windows then find the windows accessories then click on notepad.
2. The notepad window appears.
3. Then type your HTML code in the notepad windows.
4. Then click on the file menu and click on save or save as tab.
5. Then save the file with desired file name along with the extension .html or .htm extension.
6. Click on save button.

Second way to create and save html document :-

1. Click  win+r key from the keyboard.
2. Then the prompt box will appear on the screen.
3. Then type notepad on the search box then click on the ok button.
4. The notepad window appears.
5. Then type your HTML code in the notepad windows.
6. Then click on the file menu and click on save or save as tab.
7. Then save the file with desired file name along with the extension .html or .htm extension.
8. Click on save button.

When an HTML document is can be created and saved then to viewing HTML document. HTML document can be viewed using web browsers. To view an HTML document in a browse. Open the location where test.html file stored. Right on the test.html file. Open with option appears on the screen. Click Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to open the HTML file with the browser. The output is shown on the screen of browser.
