Introduction to HTML

  Refers to the way in which web pages are linked together. It is the text that you click to jump from document to document. The link available on a webpage is called Hypertext.

• Markup:-

  Means tags that apply layout and formatting conventions to text. Markup makes text more interactive and dynamic.

• Language:-

  HTML is the language interpreted by a web browser. It is a very easy and simple language. It can be easily understood and modified.

HTML is used to access web resources such as images, videos, and retrieve online information via hyperlinks, at the click of a button. Design forms for login and signup, and ordering products, student registration forms etc. In HTML you can include spread-sheets, video clips, audio clips and other applications directly in their documents.
